At Linford of Alaska, we’re committed to making your ordering experience smoother, smarter, and more flexible. That’s why we’re launching our new On-Demand model, a system designed to give you expanded access to more products while keeping the essentials always in stock.
What’s Changing?
We’re streamlining our inventory to focus on fast-moving, high-demand items you count on most. These core products will continue to be fully stocked in our warehouse and ready to ship.
At the same time, we’re broadening your options by making a wider range of items available On Demand. These are products that may not be stocked daily but are still available to you by Special Order, with a typical lead time of 2–4 weeks.
What Does This Mean for You?
Your Everyday Items, Still Accessible
Some products you order often may now be part of our On-Demand system. These items are no longer stocked at all times, but they remain available to you with reliable delivery.
Expanded Selection
The On-Demand system also opens the door to a wider range of products that we can bring in just for you.
Reliable Access, Guaranteed Delivery
On-Demand / Special Order items are ordered as needed with dependable timelines, typically 2–4 weeks.
Prepay Required for On-Demand Items
To secure your order, On-Demand / Special Order items are prepaid at the time of purchase.

This shift ensures you’ll always be able to get the products you need, just with a little more planning time built in.

As part of this shift, a few items you regularly order may be moving to On-Demand / Special Order. This change allows us to maintain consistency, while still giving you access to the same products, just with a little more planning.
Due to the wide range of products and customers, we may not be able to notify everyone individually of your products that may be moving to On Demand / Special Order. How to Spot On-Demand / Special Order Products
Look for the “Special Order” label in the product title and in the description.

Item Description: Special order product, order is placed upon confirmation. Lead times vary.
Once you place your order for a Special Order item, it will be confirmed, prepared, and delivered within the lead time.
